4:18AM
A downloadable Download game for Windows
4:18 AM is a short first-person psychological horror game set inside an apartment at night.
You play as a horror game writer who wakes up at 4:18 AM after a knock at the door. When he looks through the peephole, he does not see the hallway. He sees his own apartment.
After that, the apartment begins to change.
As you explore the rooms, you collect fragments of posters from the writer’s completed horror games, Strayed and Cenotaph. These games were part of his work as a writer, but inside the apartment they begin to feel connected to something much more personal.
Explore the apartment, collect poster fragments, read notes, and follow the changes as the space becomes darker, stranger, and more hostile.
The game focuses on atmosphere, exploration, psychological tension, and narrative horror. There is no combat.
Controls:
WASD — Move
Mouse — Look around

Content Warning:

Great game! Keep up the good work as you further yourself in game development! I made a video...

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to make a video about my game. It honestly means a lot to me as a solo developer.
Thanks again, and I hope you'll enjoy my future projects too! ❤️
A neat idea for a horror game. Graphically, it's quite well done, though unfortunately, Unreal Engine runs rather poorly on my PC (i7 / RTX 2060). I'm always a bit torn when it comes to games that utilize AI, but the overall picture of the game turned out great—it was tense and a lot of fun. I'm excited to see what else you come up with in the future! ;)
If you want a bigger YouTuber or streamer to play your game... avoid using copyrighted songs or sound files. There are two of them in your game right now.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and leave your feedback! 😊
Using AI was a practical choice for me while I'm still learning game development. Finding exactly what I need can sometimes be very difficult, so it helped me bring my ideas to life.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, and I truly appreciate your support. ❤️
